My name is Dawood and I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science, University of Victoria (UVic), BC, Canada. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Communications/Network Engineering from the University of Bahonar Kerman and the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), respectively. I am a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE), a member of ACM, and joined Fortinet Technologies (Canada) in June 2018. During my Ph.D., my research was mainly focused on Cooperative Wireless Networks, Software-Defined-Networking (SDN), Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN), WLANs, and Optimization.
